I’m a relative newcomer to web creation, so, please pardon my ignorance.

Each of my pages has a 2-column layout with the smaller column being utilized with a log-out section. Obviously, the section below the log-out is unutilized. Is there any way to create a new text box below the log-out?

As a secondary question, is it possible to use a 3-column layout for only one page and 2-column for the others?

    Thank You.

    Ron,

An addendum to my question. Looking at YOUR Homepage, you seem to have made multiple little boxes, like a magazine page. This is exactly what I want to do. Is there some widget and reading material that you can suggest so that I can learn how to do this? I have other issues with my website but don’t want to overburden you. Thanks, again.

    – By log-out you mean your buddypress widget on the sidebar? You could add more widgets below it through the widgets page.

    – Edit the specific page you want to have a 3 column layout. On the right side of the editor page look for Page Attributes. Choose 2 Sidebars template.

    – That’s the default behavior of WordPress upon first install. Go to Settings -> Reading then for the option Front page displays, choose Your latest posts.
