When in the edit post section, nothing happens when I click the Visual Tab. Additionally, none of the edit tools are showing up now. There is an “Add Media” button, but none of the other tools are there?
Except for the stylings applied on the textarea, the theme doesn’t have any functions concerning the post editor. You probably have conflicting plugins.
Have you recently installed a plugin or updated anything?
- If the editor works when using a different browser then the browser cache is the culprit. Try clearing your browser cache.
- If you have a caching or minifying plugin, clear or refresh.
- Try deactivating plugins to check if one is causing the issue.
Well, upon further investigation, it appears that all of my plugins are GONE. No idea what happened. I haven’t logged in since a few days ago when I made a recent post. Now ALL plugins are gone.
Now I notice that I can access the home page, but get an error when I try to view any other page on my site. On a desktop it is saying “Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.” and on my smartphone it says “Safari cannot open the page because too many redirects occurred.”
What is happening? Ugh.

I don’t know. If this issue just suddenly occurred without any action on your end like editing files, adding or updating plugins, etc… then it’s possible that the problem lies on your server. You could ask your web host. There’s also a remote possibility that someone might have hacked into your site.
