GuestHi Ron,
I really like the frontier theme because of all the possible settings. Unfortunately when I use it, comments are not vissible. I checked your post of February 23, 2014 but that did not solve the problem so for the moment I disabled frontier and I use an other theme. Do you know how to let the comments area show up?
Thanks,

KeymasterAre you referring to this topic?

The topic above is about the Asteroid Theme not Frontier. The original poster was having trouble with a certain commenting plugin he was using.
Frontier Theme shows comments just fine as you can see on this site.
Check this page’s comments: https://ronangelo.com/frontier/
Go toFrontier Options -> Single View
You may have accidentally disabled the comments for posts and pages.March 11, 2014 at 8:02 pm #5027Marco
GuestHi Ron,
I disabled all my plugins. Comments are enabled for posts and pages as well. Unfortunately without any result. If I switch back to my previous theme comments do show up. What can also cause the problem?

KeymasterSince you say that you disabled ALL your plugins, I really don’t have any clue why comments would not show up in your case.
Although, when I visit your site, I also can’t see any comments even with your current theme. Are you sure that you’re talking about the default WordPress Comments and not some custom content?

GuestHi Ron,
yes I am talking about the custom wordpress comments. When you visit my site and you take a look at the “activiteitenagenda” and if you select an event, at the end of that page the facebook comments show up and if you would like to post a message either via the regular wordpress comments you have to login. If I use your theme both comments via Facebook and the regular wordpress comments (login message) do not show up.
I really do not understand why :-S

KeymasterYou never mentioned anything about Facebook or Events on your previous posts… “Events” is a custom post-type which is neither Post nor Page. I believe it is by BuddyPress, right?
Anyway, try to download and install the theme found on this page: https://ronangelo.com/frontier/
See if that fixes the issue.
Note: Please don’t create new topics every time you reply on the same issue. Just reply here on your first topic. This is the second type I’ve merged your reply.
