    I Ron

    Once again I seek your help.

    I installed the plugin “Related Posts”

    It works graet, but when viewing the post the placement of the related posts in NOT of my likings.

    In the admin there is an option “Auto Insert Related Posts (or add <?php wp_related_posts()?> to your single post template)”

    If the Auto insert is active, related posts will show right after posted content, and below that the share and other functions, I dont like it that way.

    I would like to use the manual option  “(or add <?php wp_related_posts()?> to your single post template) ” via functions.php at the very end of the post.

    Could you be so kind to point out how I achieve this?

    Thanks in advance!

    On my post about good WordPress plugins, I mentioned PHP Code Widget. You could install this then put the “Related Post” code in a PHP widget to place it anywhere you want.

    1. Go to Asteroid Options -> Widget Areas.
    2. Make sure After Post or maybe even After Post- Content is checked.
    3. On the widgets page put a PHP widget on the After Post area.
    4. Put the code inside the widget.

    <?php wp_related_posts(); ?>

    You can try placing the PHP Widget in any widget areas that you like.
