GuestI did something – not sure – I had the post slider working on both the home page and then the posts were visible on my “news/updates” page also. I changed the layout to 3 column – changed it back then lost posts on my news/updates page. Still have the post slider on home page. But, I’m puzzled how do I get the posts to show back up on the news/updates?
Love the theme! Thank you!

KeymasterGo to the admin area. Settings -> Reading. You can set “News/Updates” as the post page.

Guestnope, I had done that previously. On another site where I am using your Frontier theme http://www.mustangyouthwrestlingclub.com/mustangwrestling/
The post slider is on the home page above content and then the slider is on the posts page also with the posts.
which is really cool – I checked theme settings for both sites and the only difference is the right vs left sidebar. Just trying to remember how I did that and how I undid it on the hooch site. 🙁 sorry a bit dense.

KeymasterThe slider can only appear on two places, the “Front Page” and on the “Posts Page”. On your “mustangwrestling” site you have a static front page and a post page and both have the slider.
On “hoochwrestling” you say you want both the home page and the news page to display the Posts Page, is this right? I don’t think that’s possible since WordPress only allows you to set 1 page as the Posts Page. But you say you accomplished this earlier? If that’s the case then I really have no clue how you did that.
To make the slider appear on two areas. You have to set things the way you did on your other site. A static page for the home page and a different page to display the “posts page” aka “blog page”.

KeymasterI also noticed you’re using an old version of the theme. That particular version does not show the slider on a static page IF you choose a Page Template other than “default”.

GuestHi – yes, what I want to do is as you described. To have the slider show up on the home page and also on the news/updates page. I don’t want the posts on both just the slider on both.
I’ve toggled the front page static and posts back n forth to get it to work like mustangwrestling – but i’m at a loss. I’ll try the updated theme – as we made the sites before you updated.
Thanks for your help – i’m just puzzled.
