    Hello Mr. Angelo,
My website is http://www.ikeekwueme.com. Next to my headline: The Official Website of Ike Ekwueme, the statement “xxxxx” appeared. I don’t know how it got there or what it means. What does it mean? How do I remove it?

    Best regards
    Ike Ekwueme

You’re website may have been hacked. Did you edit any theme files? Did you get the theme from wordpress.org or from somewhere else? Try updating the theme.

    Hello Ron,
I did not edit any theme files. I got the Frontier theme from WordPress. The statement no longer appears on my website headline, but it appears when a Google search is made- on the description section of my website. Thanks for your help.

    Best regards

Your site was probably hacked. This is mostly due to getting plugins from somewhere else other than wordpress.org and/or not updating old plugins.

Google’s indexed pages do not reflect any changes immediately, it takes time before the changes are shown. That’s simply the way Google operates.
