The topic above is about the Asteroid Theme not Frontier. The original poster was having trouble with a certain commenting plugin he was using.
Frontier Theme shows comments just fine as you can see on this site.

Go to Frontier Options -> Single View You may have accidentally disabled the comments for posts and pages.
