  1. Hello, I am Taiwanese users, I found some problems after using some different size computer screen display layout will run away, does it have a way to solve this problem

    1. I found some problems after using some different size computer screen display layout will run away

What problems? If you don’t want the layout to change when viewed on a different resolution, you can turn off responsiveness. Frontier Options -> Misc -> Disable Responsive Layout

      1. i like this theme so much ,and why did i not see the “photo show”on my homepage?
if necessary,U can read my blog
        thank U

        1. That’s the image slider. You have to enable it on the options. You also have to select a category to show.

The second yellow box is just a sticky post. You can go to Dashboard -> Posts. Then set a post as sticky

  2. Notice: get_current_theme is deprecated since version 3.4! Use wp_get_theme() instead. in /home6/lbcrenof/public_html/lbcLIVE/wp-includes/functions.php on line 2900

    1. I think you have the wrong theme. Frontier Theme doesn’t use any get_current_theme functions. That deprecated notice might also be caused by a plugin that you’re using.

  3. Love your theme my friend! I have my own site using a theme for a few years now that i sort of built to my liking, but not perfect, and now started a new one with the Frontier Theme (which I love and see huge possibilities).

Have a question about the slider. Where do the images pull from? Do i have to define them? I referenced the one post I have with a pic, just to test, but it pulls a generic Frontier image only. Is that because I only have one post with 1 image?

Thanks much for you support! This is great!! Nice work!

Ohh and PS, what plugin is it that you have that is the “Share This Post:” display above? Thanks!!

    1. The slider uses the Featured Image in each post. Or if you already have many posts and don’t want to manually set a featured image for each, you can use a plugin to do it automatically.

For the sharing buttons, I got the code from here. Then I placed that on a text widget. I believe there is also a plugin version for that on

  4. Hi. Ok. Thanks for the help on the feature images. I have one other item if you may. I have two posts right now, and i have 2 feature images. It seems that once the two images run, then I get a white box and it does not repeat.

Any way to make the slider run continually without stopping? I can’t seem to find a setting.

I must say, i really like your Frontier site builder. It’s really a nice solution. Very well organized. Nice job!!

    1. The slider does play continuously. If you have Disqus Comments installed like I do here on my blog, then you must output the javascript on the footer.

If you don’t have Disqus then it must be a different plugin that is conflicting. Try to disable to see which one.

      1. That was it. I do use the Disqus. Thanks much! Love how you support your work like this! Really great!!

  5. where to put ads code ? can’t find it..please help !

    1. please help as i am unable to put any of my ad links..

      1. Add your codes on Text widgets.

  6. Thanks for this beautiful theme.

I would like to have the slider panel on the home page only, and not on any other page. Currently it shows up on the home and posts pages. How can I disable slider on the posts page?

    1. The slider IS supposed to only show on the homepage/frontpage. Could you post a link to your site? I can’t see how the slider could show anywhere else. Did you edit the theme files?

      1. Ron, my page is I didn’t change any theme codes, if that’s what you mean. I’ve only changed configurations that are part of theme setting menus.

        1. You have two posts. I don’t see any sliders on them.

          1. That’s because I decided to slim down the blog site to just three pages. I set the posts page as my “front” page, and got rid of the “home” page. I think I’ll leave it as it is – the more important thing now is to blog regularly.

  7. I like your theme too much. How can I do not know set page which has advertise promotion?

    1. If you want Sharing buttons like the one on the bottom of my posts you can use the codes available here sharing buttons then add them on a text widget. Or you could also just use this plugin

If you want Follow buttons then use these codes instead Follow buttons then add them on a text widget.

      1. Thanks for replying. Done.

  8. Under Frontier options, I do not have the “slider categories” option. Please advise….

    1. Do any of your posts belong to a category?

      1. It’s for the slider image. Yes, when I went into the “posts” menu, I set my image as “featured image” and then checked the category. I saved it but the image still doesn’t show on my page.

        1. Could you post a link to your site? Did you make sure the slider is enabled on the Frontier Options page?

  9. Yes, I read your previous post and did what you instructed. I went in to the Frontier Options and went to Slider and clicked “enable”. After that, your example shows a drop down menu for “slider categories” and it’s not there on mine.

    1. Your site only has one entry and it is a “Page” type. The slider is only able to show “Post” types. You can’t add a category to pages. If you look at your sidebar you’ll also see a widget that says “No Categories”. You can either create more Posts or transfer that single Page’s content to a Post.

      1. Ok Thank you. A bit of a a novice at this. I will try to figure it out the “Post” type and “Page” type. I didn’t realize. Thanks again.

  10. Nguyen Hoang Thu Nhi

How can i add slide on my home page.

    1. You enable the sliders on Frontier Options -> Slider. Also, as indicated in the documentation, you need to select the category of post which you want to display. The slider will use each post’s Featured Image as the slider image.

      1. Nguyễn Thanh Hoàng

Thank you very much for the work instructions, I’ve done OK.

        1. Looks good but I think your logo is way too big. It’s over 2Mb and is 9400 x 1360. I think it’s best you resize it to improve speed.

  11. hi i i have an arabic so i want to edit Continue reading how can i do that

    1. Follow instructions here on how to change the text on the theme. You’ll have to use a child theme.

      1. Great man it worked without child theme
        thanks a lot

tell me what are the best ads positions in this template and how avg it could be

        1. If you didn’t use a child theme your changes will be lost when the theme gets updated.

  12. Good evening Ron.
I would like to thank you for this amazing theme.
But I would like to ask you a question: how can I avoid post repetition between the slider and the content below?

    Thank you very much!

    1. You can modify the WordPress main loop so the categories you choose won’t display on the blog posts. This question was posted here on the comments a few days ago. Click “Load more comments” below to see the instructions.

      1. Thank you very much!

  13. Great theme Ron!

I have two questions about it:

    1. With which code is the blue bar at the top of the posts fitted in?

    2. How can I fit in a blue background at my posts headlines like it is in the sidebar?

    Thank you very mutch!

  14. Hi Ron,

one question about the comment function: Do you know, how I can delete the e-mail adress field?

    Regards Thomas

    1. If you’re using a child-theme you can add this code on the functions.php

      function remove_comment_field( $field ) {
          return '';
      add_filter( 'comment_form_field_email', 'remove_comment_field' );
      1. Thanks a lot!
